This position focuses on the investigation of THz sources, detectors, and systems, particularly resonant-tunnelling diodes (RTDs).

Eligibility/Qualification
- MSc in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a similar discipline
- Strong foundation in high-frequency electrical engineering or in the physics of electronic or optoelectronic devices
- Prior experience in semiconductor technology, THz or high-frequency measurements, and electromagnetic simulations is advantageous
- Team player with advanced problem-solving skills
- Interest in research
- Knowledge of German is an advantage
Job Description
- Conduct research into THz RTD oscillators and detectors
- Publish scientific papers in top conferences and journals
- Involve in teaching responsibilities, including supervision of students, correction of exams, and lab courses
- Assist in organizational and administrative tasks
