Eligibility/Qualification

  • Team-oriented and proactive working style.
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written); knowledge of German is a plus.

Description

The selected candidate will contribute to the VIWA 2020+ project, focusing on developing scientific solutions for operational challenges in the City of Vienna’s drinking water supply. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting molecular biological analyses (DNA extraction, PCR, sequencing).
  • Performing bioinformatic analyses of microbial community composition.
  • Collecting water samples from various environments.
  • Participating in collaborative projects and contributing to scientific publications.
