Eligibility/Qualification

  • Completed Master’s degree or Diploma in Physics.
  • Experience in academic writing.
  • Background in experimental quantum optics, opto-mechanics, and optical levitation is preferable.
  • Proficient in tools for advanced experiments: homodyne and heterodyne detection, programming.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Description

As a University Assistant (Predoctoral) in the Aspelmeyer group, you will engage in cutting-edge research exploring the fundamentals and applications of quantum entanglement in levitated solid-state platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in a specific and well-funded research project.
  • Developing and presenting your research plan.
  • Completing your dissertation in a timely manner.
  • Contributing to teaching and administrative tasks.
  • Engaging in outreach through publications and conference presentations.
