Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in (Bio-)Physics, (Bio-)Chemistry, (Bio-)Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in microfluidics.
- Practical skills in continuous-flow and droplet-based microfluidic systems.
- Experience in chip fabrication methods such as soft lithography.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with optical integration, advanced fluorescence microscopy, or automated assay development.
- Strong programming and data analysis skills (e.g., Python).
- A robust academic track record with first-author publications.
Job Description
- Advance single-molecule microfluidic assays and high-throughput biochemical screening methods.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research, developing a distinct profile in biomicrofluidics.
- Contribute to the design and technical realization of novel microfluidic methods in collaboration with students and interdisciplinary partners.
- Acquire funding, publish in international journals, and present findings at scientific conferences.
- Develop and teach courses in Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, supervise students, and engage in university governance.
