University Project Assistant: Johannes Kepler University Linz invites applications for the position of University Project Assistant in the field of quantum optical science and technologies. The successful candidate, holding a Ph.D. degree in physics or equivalent, will work in the Institute of Semiconductor and Solid State Physics, focusing on quantum science and technology research. This is a full-time, three-year position with an entry date of March 15, 2024.

Eligibility/Qualification:Ph.D. degree in physics or equivalent, knowledge in quantum optics, experience in assembling quantum optical setups, good communication skills, proficiency in English (level B2).
Job Description:Research activities in quantum science and technology, setting up quantum optical laboratories, writing scientific publications, participation in teaching and outreach activities, guidance of students, participation in conferences.
