Vice Chancellor’s PhD: The ACU Vice Chancellor’s PhD Excellence Scholarships are designed to support commencing international PhD candidates who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement. This scholarship package includes a stipend, tuition fee coverage, and additional allowances to facilitate a seamless transition to research studies at the Australian Catholic University (ACU).

Location
Any Australian campus of ACU (excluding online programs), subject to approved supervision arrangements.
Eligibility/Qualification
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: International students for fee purposes.
- Faculties: Must apply to one of the following faculties: Education and Arts, Law and Business, Health Sciences, or Theology and Philosophy.
- Course: Enrollment in the Doctorate of Ministry or Doctor of Philosophy.
- Recipients cannot hold any other ACU scholarship or award.
- Candidates must comply with the enrollment and progress requirements defined in ACU’s Higher Degree Research Policy and Research Training Program Scholarship Policy.
Job Description
Successful applicants will receive a comprehensive scholarship package that includes:
- A stipend valued at AUD $33,511 per annum (paid fortnightly for up to 3.5 years).
- Tuition fee scholarship covering up to 3.5 years.
- RTP Allowance for a single Overseas Student Health Care Policy.
- RTP Relocation Allowance valued up to AUD $2,000 to assist with relocation costs.
