Description

The Vienna BioCenter PhD Program aims to develop students into rigorous and independent researchers. How to Apply

  1. Written Application:
  • Call for applications opens: March 1
  • Deadline for written applications & references: April 15 at 23:59 CET

Note: Applications for Stage 1 must be submitted before April 11 (23:59 CET), while Stage 2 applications can be submitted until April 15.

  • Panel interviews on May 20-21
  • Meet the Principal Investigators on May 27 (3-5 PM CET)
  • Meet the current PhD students on May 27 (5-7 PM CET)
  • Research group interviews: June 2-6
  1. In-Person Visit:
  • To be organized individually from June to August, with costs covered by the program.
  1. PhD Start Date:
  • Flexible start date, latest by January 1, 2026.
