ViroiDoc Doctoral Candidates Open Call: The ViroiDoc Network is offering an exciting opportunity for 10 Doctoral Candidates to participate in research projects focusing on viroids, the smallest plant pathogens. Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree (MSc or equivalent) in plant biology, genetics, cell biology, bioinformatics, biochemistry, chemistry, or related disciplines
  • Must not hold a doctoral degree at the time of recruitment
  • Cannot have resided or worked in the host country for more than 12 months in the last 3 years
  • Proficient in written and spoken English (B2-C2 level required)

Description

The ViroiDoc training program is international, multidisciplinary, and cross-sectoral, consisting of individual research projects, local doctoral school training, and specific ViroiDoc network-wide training. Participants will gain exposure to various industries, build a valuable professional network, and develop skills in scientific research, digital technologies, and entrepreneurship.
