Visiting Postdoc Research Associate: The Department of Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign is seeking a qualified candidate for a Visiting Postdoctoral Research Associate position. This role, under the mentorship of Drs. Brian Ogolsky and Jennifer Hardesty, offers an exciting opportunity for early career development, publication, and supervision within the dynamic field of human development and family studies.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Completed Ph.D. in human development/family studies, psychology, communication, or a closely related field.
  • Strong methodological and quantitative data analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated writing skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment.

Job Description: The position involves conducting research in the areas of relationship or family science in context, advanced quantitative methods and analysis (e.g., dyadic analysis, longitudinal analysis), and project management and team leadership. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within the highly ranked Department of Human Development and Family Studies, utilizing state-of-the-art family observation facilities and a child development laboratory.
