Eligibility/Qualification:
- Doctoral Degree: PhD in Machine Learning, Statistics, Scientific Computing, Computational Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
- Research Experience: Experience in computational simulations of chemical processes, computational fluid dynamics, or other related areas is advantageous.
- Publication Record: Proven scholarly proficiency demonstrated through original research resulting in publications in recognized journals/conferences.
- Language Proficiency: Very good knowledge of both spoken and written English.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will carry out research focused on:
- Accelerating CFD computations and improving predictive modelling for Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD).
- Integrating probabilistic machine learning methods, generative diffusion models, and physics-informed neural networks.
- Engaging in teaching activities (up to 20% of working hours), contributing to scientific discussions, organizing seminars, and supervising PhD students.
You will collaborate closely with different project partners and departments, leveraging state-of-the-art computing infrastructure provided by the university.
