HSE University in Moscow, Russia, invites applications for postdoctoral research positions.
HSE University offers postdoctoral fellows a competitive salary, the standard medical insurance plan, a working space equipped with a computer, free Internet access at the University and access to scientific databases and analytical software.
Eligibility-
HSE University welcomes international applicants who hold a recently received PhD degree (one that has been awarded over the previous 5 years)in relevant fields by a major international research university. Candidates may also be PhD students at the time of their application, but the degree must have been obtained by the time a HSE job contract commences.
A PhD programme completed by a candidate should have a strong research focus in the field of the application.
Fluent English is obligatory. Knowledge of Russian is not required.
Respective departments may have extra requirements for their positions. Please check them in the position description.

An application packet for a postdoctoral position is obligatory and must include:
a candidate’s CV;
a research statement;
published papers, a job market paper or other writing samples;
at least two letters of recommendation;
if necessary, other documents as specified by a host department.
The documents package should be submitted via an online application form. Letters of recommendation can be sent directly to fellowship@hse.ru before the application deadline.

Send the Recommendation Letters
If you haven’t uploaded your letters of recommendation via an online form, ask your referees (at least two) to send the letters directly to the Review Committee at International Faculty Recruitment to fellowship@hse.ru before the application deadline. I am Mahua Bhattacharya, I just submitted my PhD thesis in sociology department of Jadavpur University. My thesis is on religious aspects in Bengali novels and the reactions of the society on it. Now I want to do my Post doctoral research in some other aspects of religion in Bengali language on abroad. So if there will be any opportunities in abroad Universities, please convey that opportunity to me through my Email. Because I think Bengali language is a very rich language to convey my thoughts on religion through research in this language.
