Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Thermodynamics: The Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford is inviting applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant position within Professor Ares’ research group. - Ph.D./D.Phil (or near completion*) in a relevant subject.

Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Thermodynamics at the Nanoscale
The successful candidate will:
- Fabricate quantum devices.
- Characterize devices at low temperatures.
- Conduct experiments to elucidate thermodynamic quantities such as work and heat.
- Collaborate with theorists to design new ambitious experiments.
