Eligibility/Qualification: Minimum Requirements:

  • PhD in social sciences with expertise in the specified research areas.
  • PhD must be in hand by the start date.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in quantitative or qualitative data analysis software (e.g., STATA, R, NVivo).
  • Proficiency in urban mapping with GIS preferred.
  • Strong data organization and project management skills.

Job Description: The Zwan Postdoctoral Associate will:

  1. Conduct quantitative survey and/or qualitative interview analysis related to religious diversity, victimization, and discrimination.
  2. Manage grant-funded research, including coordinating qualitative interviews, conducting urban GIS mapping projects, and assisting with survey design and validation.
  3. Assist in developing grant proposals for new data collections on religious diversity and conflict.
  4. Work on independent research projects related to religion and religious diversity.
  5. Participate in programming and professional development with the Boniuk Institute.
  6. Have the opportunity to pursue independent research projects, including publishing from their dissertation or other ongoing research.
  7. No teaching responsibilities associated with the position.
