Postdoctoral Fellow in Fungal Biology and Molecular Plant Pathology
The postdoctoral fellow will lead efforts to identify and validate putative antifungal targets in select fungal plant pathogens, with an initial focus on Cercospora spp. The research involves integrating existing knowledge in fungal biology with industry-generated -omics data. Specific tasks include identifying antifungal targets, functionally characterizing these targets concerning intrinsic function, virulence, and fungal fitness. The position is for two years at a 100% appointment, with salary and benefits based on experience and qualifications.
