Eligibility/Qualification:
- Educational background in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, material science, biological engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in process-based simulation (e.g., Aspen Plus, SuperPro) is preferred.
- Strong interest in sustainability research.
- Enthusiasm for exploring unknown research areas.
- Strong academic writing and communication skills.
- Preferable if you have related research experience.
Job Description:
- Contribute to innovative methods and integrated modeling frameworks for sustainability in bioenergy and biomaterials.
- Address sustainability issues using interdisciplinary approaches, including industrial ecology, sustainable engineering, and artificial intelligence.
- Explore research directions such as sustainable energy, carbon footprint, climate change mitigation, forest carbon dynamics, soil carbon modeling, green building, upcycling solid waste, process design and simulation, and techno-economic analysis (TEA) and life cycle assessment (LCA) of emerging technologies.
