Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. degree obtained no later than 7 years ago.
- Experience in developmental and/or germ cell biology.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in isolation and in vitro culture of mouse germ cells.
- Expertise in micromanipulation of oocytes and embryos.
- Familiarity with cell imaging techniques (confocal/super-resolution microscopy).
- Proficiency in molecular techniques such as cloning, digital PCR, pyrosequencing, and next-generation sequencing.
- Background in bioinformatics and statistics.
Job Description: The selected candidates will engage in a multidisciplinary environment, focusing on:
- Isolation and culture of mouse germ cells.
- In vitro fertilization and intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection of mouse oocytes.
- Molecular cloning and in vitro transcription of plasmids.
- Microinjection of plasmids, mRNA, and RNAi into mouse germ cells and embryos.
- Maintenance, breeding, and genotyping of mice.
- Imaging of mouse cells by confocal/super-resolution microscopy.
- Molecular biology analyses using PCR, qPCR, digital PCR, pyrosequencing, and next-generation sequencing.
- Data analysis, organization for presentations, and publications.
- Detailed record-keeping of all laboratory activities.
