Eligibility/Qualification–
Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a minimum 6 years teaching/ research/industrial experience after Ph.D.

An outstanding Scientist/Engineer/ Technologist with 1st class M. Sc/ M. Tech. with 11 Years experience.
Desirable Qualification:
Research experience of productive/Technology development in Govt/research/academic organization/ Premium private in any one or more of following fields: –

| Brief description of Project | The aim of the proposal is the development of advanced photonic devices incorporating material and device engineering which can prove to be a building block for making micro/nano scale integrated photonic devices and circuits for various on-chip applications. The primary target would be to come up with a novel and versatile design of the guided wave platform for transceiver (i.e., optical modulation and photodetection). The design of advanced integrated photonic devices would be such that it will exhibit several useful characteristics for application in optical communication, interconnects, and bio-chemical sensing. | |
