Essential Qualifications: Candidates must have (a) a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, specializing in bioinorganic chemistry, (b) expertise in monitoring the kinetics of reactions involving heme and/or copper– peptide complexes in membrane-mimicking micellar media relevant to Alzheimer’s disease, (c) a background in redox biochemistry and ROS-mediated oxidative stress mechanisms in disease pathology, (d) experience in the spectroscopic trapping and characterization of reaction intermediates using stoppedflow absorption spectrophotometers, UV-Vis, resonance Raman, and EPR spectroscopy, (e) good communication skills, and (f) a minimum average mark of 60% in B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees with NET qualification.
Age limit: Should be below 35 years on the date of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt.
