Scholarship Description: This PhD position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research at the Department of Cognitive Neuroscience, Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition, and Behavior. The project involves integrating animal behavior studies with gut microbiota research in humans to enhance our understanding of depression treatment responses.

Eligibility: We are seeking a motivated PhD candidate with a master’s degree in (behavioral) neuroscience, (medical) biology, or a related field. Experience in animal work is preferred, but a strong desire to learn is also valued. Technical insight and problem-solving skills are essential, and a proactive nature is highly encouraged.
