Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields
- Proven track record in publishing
- Strong background in cell biology and molecular biology
- Experience in fluorescence microscopy, biochemistry, and/or biophysics advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary and international team
- Highly motivated and independent
- Excellent problem-solving and management skills
Job Description: The selected candidate will:
- Design, conduct, and analyze experiments at a high scientific standard
- Present data in joint group meetings of participating PIs and their groups
- Share findings at local and international meetings and conferences
- Supervise and guide PhD students
- Work on understanding molecular and cellular mechanisms related to mechanotransduction
- Utilize in vitro force measurements, biochemical approaches, cell-based assays, and live cell fluorescence imaging
