Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in chemistry or related field
- Expertise in computational chemistry, especially in molecular dynamics simulations and density functional theory computations
- Proficiency in programming is advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in applying advanced statistical analyses
- Ability to collaborate with academic groups and industrial project partners
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Completed Swedish doctoral degree or equivalent from another country
Job Description: The Postdoctoral Fellow will:
- Develop theoretical tools for understanding physicochemical properties of 1,2,4-triazoloium-based ionic liquids and polymers with CO2
- Conduct molecular dynamics simulations and density functional theory computations
- Collaborate on characterization methods including infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy
- Engage in collaborative projects with PhD students, master students, and other postdocs
- Disseminate research outcomes through publications and presentations
