Eligibility/Qualification: The ideal candidate should have a strong background in plant molecular and cell biology, be fluent in English (oral & written), and demonstrate curiosity, proactiveness, and independence. Prior experience in plant cell wall biology and immunohistochemistry will be positively assessed. The candidate should be between 0 and 2 years after their PhD defense at the starting time.

Job Description: The postdoctoral researcher will work on the ANR project EXTRANET, focusing on understanding the molecular mechanisms of EXTENSIN proteins in plant cell growth. The research will utilize Arabidopsis thaliana tip-growing cells as models, employing a combination of biochemistry, cell biology, and genetics. The candidate will be trained in necessary techniques and receive strong support in academic activities such as conference attendance, grant & manuscript writing, and students’ supervision.
