Post Doctoral Scholar (Czuba Lab): The Czuba Laboratory at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in Lexington, KY, is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scholar for a temporary position in drug transporter research. The role involves in vitro studies on the regulation of bile acid transporters and protein-protein interactions using human biospecimens and mammalian cell-lines. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in biological science with extensive research experience in cell signaling and protein regulation. Preferred skills include site-directed mutagenesis, protein expression in mammalian eukaryotic cells, protein function and stability analyses, immunoprecipitation, and quantitative LC-MS/MS. The candidate is expected to work independently, collaborate effectively, and contribute conceptually to the laboratory’s projects.
