Part-time Research Associate/PhD Student: Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences is seeking a motivated individual to join the “CytoTransport” team as a part-time Research Associate/PhD Student. The position involves conducting research on the Physiology of Transporters, focusing on the localization and function of membrane transporters within the Solute Carrier SLC Family.

Eligibility/QualificationDegree in natural sciences (Diploma/Master’s) in a life sciences subject. Specialized knowledge of human biology and cell physiology, particularly membrane physiology. Experience in molecular biology, cell cultures, and preferably immunohistology and/or electrophysiological techniques. Proficient in MS Office. Excellent language skills (German and English) at B2 level.
Job DescriptionConducting research and development work in the DFG-funded research cluster “CytoTransport.” Evaluate and present research results at conferences, publish in scientific journals. Supervise students in experimental theses within the research cluster. Develop a scientific profile, potentially pursuing a doctorate.
