Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in computer science, bioinformatics, physics, or a related discipline
- Strong interest in biological systems with a preference for an educational background in biology
- Experience in automated analysis of image data
- Very good programming skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Good communication skills in English
Description: The successful candidate will join the research group Applied Systems Biology led by Prof. Dr. Marc Thilo Figge. The Leibniz-HKI offers a dynamic and committed team, excellent technical facilities, and integration into the Beutenberg Campus’s outstanding scientific environment. The research focuses on experiment-driven interdisciplinary studies using image-based systems biology approaches. The position is for an initial 3 years with the prospect of prolongation.
