Job Description:
- Fully funded PhD studentships with 100% tuition fees (home rate) and a minimum annual stipend of £18,622 (2023/2024 UKRI rate).
- Research focus on ageing and multiple long-term conditions.
- 12 studentships available, spanning diverse topics from Parkinson’s disease to rheumatoid arthritis flare and computer science applications.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in high-quality experimental medicine and translational research.
- Contribute to the interdisciplinary research community at NIHR Newcastle BRC.
- Receive training and support to become future leaders in research.
- 36-month award duration starting in September/October 2024.
