Assistant Professor (Grade-I & Grade-II)	Preferred Areas Quantum cryptography, Quantum teleportation, Quantum sensing and metrology, Photonic quantum circuits, Plasmonics and Nano photonics, Quantum Optics and Optomechanics, Ultra- cold atomic matter, Qubit devices and quantum transport, and other areas of Quantum science and technology
Associate Professor	Same as above

Eligibility/Qualification–

Applicants should have a passion for teaching, should be exceptionally motivated, and should have an established record of high-quality research. IIT Mandi promotes an interdisciplinary culture and Faculty members can collaborate with faculty in other areas of engineering, basic sciences and Humanities and social sciences. Also, with its location in the Himalayas, IIT Mandi provides unique opportunities for research on socially-relevant technologies for the Himalayan region.

A Ph.D. degree is necessary for a faculty position at IIT Mandi. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis recently or are close to completing their Ph.D. degree may also apply for the post of Assistant Professor Grade-II.
