PhD Student Position: Theory of Non-equilibrium Stochastic Many-body Systems

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Strong background and experience in statistical or mathematical physics, applied probability, and stochastic processes, and/or stochastic thermodynamics.
  • Completion or expected completion of a Master’s or equivalent degree in any related field.
  • Proficiency in English; German language skills are not required but are beneficial.

Description: The PhD candidate will engage in research focusing on non-equilibrium phenomena in soft matter and biophysics, employing methods of mathematical physics and probability theory.
