Location: University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), Groningen, Netherlands

Eligibility/Qualification: Applicants should hold an MSc degree in Technical Medicine, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field. Proficiency in developing deep-learning AI algorithms and a clear understanding of MRI are essential. Candidates should possess excellent academic writing, presentation, and communication skills, along with a collaborative spirit and a commitment to continuous learning. Description: The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing an AI algorithm for semi-autonomous prostate cancer detection on MRI. Tasks include conducting research on patient acceptance of AI diagnostics, overseeing a multicenter prospective pilot study, and integrating patient perspectives into future research initiatives. The position offers opportunities for data analysis, publication in peer-reviewed journals, mentorship, and collaboration with clinicians and clinical centers.
