Eligibility/Qualification:
- Recent Ph.D. in human and social sciences with expertise in environmental issues, intangible cultural heritage, or rural contexts
- Proficiency in qualitative surveys, participatory methodologies, and field research
- Experience with conducting interviews, ethnographic methods, and archival research
- Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and modeling software is advantageous
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, international team and communicate effectively
- Proficiency in French and English; Spanish language skills are desirable
Job Description: The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct research on the dynamics and adaptation of pastoral systems in the Basque Country, particularly in Soule, France, in the context of environmental and climatic change. Responsibilities include designing investigation protocols, conducting field surveys, organizing seminars, coordinating data comparison, and publishing research findings.
