Eligibility/Qualification:
- Doctoral/Ph.D. degree in computer science, computational social science, or related fields.
- Strong publication record in information extraction, NLP, machine learning, information retrieval, big data, or web mining.
- Proficiency in software development for NLP and ML using Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with big data frameworks like Spark or Hadoop is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; German language skills are desired.
- Experience in coordinating scientific projects and research teams is desirable.
Job Description:
- Conduct research in NLP, information extraction, and computational social science to extract meaningful insights from unstructured text data.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative infrastructures for analyzing digital behavioral data.
- Develop efficient methods for processing large volumes of digital behavioral data with a focus on reliability and reproducibility.
- Publish and present research findings at top-tier research venues.
- Co-supervise team members and PhD students.
