Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in machine learning, computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, signal processing, acoustics, bioacoustics, or related fields

- Strong academic writing and spoken English skills
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated
Job Description:
- Develop machine learning algorithms for bird sound classification using deep learning techniques
- Evaluate algorithms across different habitats, species, and seasons in Europe
- Collaborate with international partners and researchers in signal processing, machine learning, and ecology
- Publish research findings in academic conferences and journals
- Deploy developed AI algorithms as reusable software
- Conduct research with a positive environmental impact
