Job Description:
The postdoctoral researchers will work on an ERC related project focusing on the expression of endoplasmic reticulum export site components at mitochondria to recreate an ERES related structure at mitochondria. Responsibilities include working with a team on mechanisms by which cells secrete bulky cargoes like collagens, mucins, and chylomicrons, utilizing in vitro and in vivo analyses. The candidates will contribute to structural and functional analyses of key components such as TANGO1 and aim to visualize and characterize the route taken by bulky cargoes for their export from the ER.
