Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Postdocs: Completed doctorate within the last four years or within six months of completion, with publications in internationally reviewed academic journals and houses.
  • Experienced Researchers: Doctorate completed within the last twelve years, extensive publication record in internationally reviewed academic journals, and evidence of independent academic profile.

Job Description:

  • Conduct research abroad in collaboration with a host from the Humboldt Network.
  • Choose from around 25,000 potential academic hosts worldwide.
  • Secure funding contribution from academic host.
  • Flexible duration: 6-24 months for postdocs, 6-18 months for experienced researchers (split into three stays over three years).
  • Receive fellowship amount according to target country and life situation, with additional support for travel expenses.
  • Benefit from personal support throughout sponsorship, including family allowances for accompanying family members.
