Research Associate in Microwave Technology, Imperial College London, UK

Imperial Junior Research Fellowships 2019 UK for Early-Career Scientist

Research Associate in Microwave Technology: Join a dynamic team at the forefront of microwave quantum technology research. As a Research Associate, you will contribute to the development of advanced microwave and millimeter-wave cavities tailored for maser-related devices utilizing spin-defect materials such as nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond and silicon-vacancy centers in silicon carbide. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in electromagnetic simulations and experimental characterization techniques. The project, part of a 5-year collaboration with leading universities, seeks applicants with strong skills in experimental and computational electromagnetic (microwave and/or optical) domains.
