Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- Experience in PHY, precoding, and multiuser systems
- Familiarity with 3GPP New Radio PHY specifications
- Proficiency in MATLAB, GNURadio/C/C++
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
Job Description: The Research Associate will work closely with Prof. Symeon Chatzinotas and Dr. Thang X. Vu on the Physical Layer design and optimization for 6G Non-terrestrial Networks. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a full-stack simulation platform for multiuser precoding in NTN
- Simulation of precoding and frequency management in NTN systems
- Collaboration with SES Satellites on 3GPP precoding in satellite systems
- Implementation and testing of algorithms on SDR environments
- Dissemination of results through scientific publications
- Coordinating research projects and assisting in PhD student supervision
