Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD (or near completion) in Biological Sciences or related field
  • Successful track record of academic publications
  • Experience in molecular parasitology and infection research
  • Proficiency in molecular, synthetic, and cell biology, as well as genetics
  • Knowledge of parasitic diseases, particularly malaria
  • Familiarity with scientific writing and grant application processes
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to undergo training and travel domestically and internationally for research and conferences

Job Description: As a Research Associate, you will investigate mosquito-parasite interactions and develop transmission-blocking effectors targeting Plasmodium falciparum. Responsibilities include designing and executing experiments, developing techniques for data collection and analysis, coordinating research activities, and engaging in administrative tasks.
