Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in health informatics, computer science, statistics, data science, or a related discipline
- Significant experience in database management, particularly with health data or in a clinical setting
- Strong technical skills in SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing, and data integration tools
- Proven track record of managing data in compliance with GDPR and other data protection standards
- Experience working with health research ethics committees and understanding of ethical approval processes
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using statistical software (e.g., R, Stata)
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, research-oriented environment
- Project management skills
Job Description: The position involves collaborating with Centric Health to develop a population-based analytic data system for decision support, population monitoring, and comparative effectiveness research. Key duties include:
- Designing and developing database architecture
- Ensuring seamless integration and management of health data from various sources
- Developing analytical tools and reporting mechanisms
- Managing data privacy and security in compliance with GDPR
- Engaging with stakeholders to align database management strategies with project goals
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting
- Creating documentation and conducting training sessions for users
- Managing project timelines and deliverables
- Leading and co-authoring papers for peer-reviewed publications
- Disseminating research results at scientific meetings and through other channels
