Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in health informatics, computer science, statistics, data science, or a related discipline
  • Significant experience in database management, particularly with health data or in a clinical setting
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing, and data integration tools
  • Proven track record of managing data in compliance with GDPR and other data protection standards
  • Experience working with health research ethics committees and understanding of ethical approval processes
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using statistical software (e.g., R, Stata)
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, research-oriented environment
  • Project management skills

Job Description: The position involves collaborating with Centric Health to develop a population-based analytic data system for decision support, population monitoring, and comparative effectiveness research. Key duties include:

  • Designing and developing database architecture
  • Ensuring seamless integration and management of health data from various sources
  • Developing analytical tools and reporting mechanisms
  • Managing data privacy and security in compliance with GDPR
  • Engaging with stakeholders to align database management strategies with project goals
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting
  • Creating documentation and conducting training sessions for users
  • Managing project timelines and deliverables
  • Leading and co-authoring papers for peer-reviewed publications
  • Disseminating research results at scientific meetings and through other channels
