Eligibility/Qualification
- Above-average university degree in biology, chemistry, or related fields with a Master of Science qualification.
- Ability to perform photobiological experiments with bacteria in both planktonic and biofilm states.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn photochemistry and nanosciences.
- Excellent evaluation and documentation skills, and experience in writing manuscripts.
- Strong communication skills and very good English proficiency.
- Ability to work in an international team environment.

Job Description
The selected candidate will:
- Conduct research tasks within the DFG project “Multifunctional photoactive nanocarriers for the degradation of bacterial biofilms”.
- Evaluate and document research results and prepare manuscripts for publication.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team in an international research environment.
- Contribute to maintaining laboratory operations.
