Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in Chemistry
- Experience in organic synthesis and compound characterization
- Skills and expertise in supramolecular chemistry
- Proficiency in characterizing self-assembled materials using spectroscopy and microscopy techniques
- Experience with microfluidic technologies, metal-organic cages, or numerical modeling of reaction networks is desired but not mandatory
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Design and synthesize novel molecular building blocks.
- Study the formation of porous supramolecular materials from these building blocks under equilibrium conditions.
- Investigate the hierarchical self-assembly of these materials under dissipative conditions utilizing (micro)fluidic devices to enable controlled supply of chemical fuels.
