PostDoc in Medicinal Chemistry & Molecular Glue Drug Discovery

Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher

Research Area: Medicinal Chemistry, Molecular Glue Drug Discovery, Organic Chemistry, Chemical Biology

Location: TU Darmstadt, Germany

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Organic Chemistry, preferably within a Medicinal Chemistry or Chemical Biology setting
  • Extensive experience in the multistep synthesis of complex, bioactive compounds
  • Strong interest in applied research and drug discovery
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international and team-focused environment
  • Creativity and innovation with a willingness to learn new skills

Job Description:

  • Design and synthesize complex FKBP ligands as molecular glues for drug development
  • Interpret biochemical and biological assays, safeguarding intellectual property
  • Proactively contribute to new projects, ideas, and concepts
  • Participate in the commercialization of our drug discovery platform
  • Actively engage in interdisciplinary projects and academia-industry collaborations
