Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Medical Informatics, or related fields
- Profound knowledge in CT/MRI medical image segmentation and statistical shape modeling
- Excellent experience in software design and programming (MATLAB & Python)
- Affinity with medical applications and device design
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Job Description:
The PhD candidate will work on developing robust (semi-) automatic segmentation and processing methods applicable to different human bones on joints. The candidate will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and work towards creating an open-access and sustainable platform for 3D bone shape data in the orthopedic domain.
