Fully Funded PhD Positions in Cellular Imaging and Neuroscience

Eligibility/Qualification: Prospective candidates should hold a Master’s degree in Molecular Life Sciences (for Project 1 – Cellular Imaging) or Neuroscience (for Project 2 – Neuroscience), or an equivalent qualification. Analytical and theoretical skills, experimental talent, and a background in cellular imaging, molecular biology, or cellular neuroscience are advantageous. Strong communication skills, fluency in English, and a keen interest in signaling pathways driving synaptic plasticity are essential.
Job Description: Successful candidates will be expected to complete a PhD thesis within a four-year duration, gain knowledge through literature surveys, contribute to experimental design and execution, analyze and interpret results, enroll in the relevant PhD student training program, teach seminars, supervise student projects, and present research findings at scientific meetings. The candidates will work closely within their respective projects as well as in an interdisciplinary research environment.
