Scholarship Opportunity: Managing Generative AI: Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam’s KIN research group is offering two PhD positions for the project “Managing Generative AI in the Workplace.” This project aims to study the impact of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) on work practices, interactions, and organizational structures.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Research master or MSc in business administration, sociology, anthropology, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in qualitative research methods.
  • Fluency in English required; knowledge of Dutch preferred.
  • Strong motivation for high-quality research and academic writing.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with industry partners.

Job Description:

  • Conduct theoretical and empirical research on the consequences of GenAI on group and organizational levels.
  • Study themes including GenAI’s impact on work practices, professionals’ interactions, and organizational responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the teaching program of the Department.
