Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A Ph.D. degree (or nearing completion) in environmental sciences, atmospheric or climate science, hydrology, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Novel gas exchange measurement techniques (experience with eddy covariance is an advantage).
  • Mechanistic land-climate interaction modeling.
  • Excellent track record, as selected candidates will be nominated as international “talents.”
  • Applicants must not have previously studied or worked in Germany.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will engage in high-level research focusing on biosphere-atmosphere interactions. The research involves advanced techniques and modeling to understand the land-climate interactions, contributing to our understanding of environmental and climate sciences. The candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working closely with experts in the field and gaining access to state-of-the-art facilities at the University of Münster.
