Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD/DPhil in biology, bioengineering, or biochemistry
- Experience in plant development and molecular biology
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work productively within a multidisciplinary team
- Interest in synthetic biology (prior experience not mandatory)
Job Description:
- Elucidating lateral root development at high resolution via integrase-based trackers
- Engineering root architecture via cell fate-specific integrase switches
- Training in synthetic biology, plant biology, and single-cell sequencing
- Mentor technicians and graduate students
- Access to core skills training and all scientific facilities at the Earlham Institute
