Job Description:
The postdoctoral researcher will be part of the research group led by Dr. Ruud Kortlever at the Process & Energy department of the Mechanical Engineering faculty. The position is funded via a Dutch Open Technology project (e-Heat) and involves collaborating with multiple groups at TU Delft and industrial partners. The researcher will investigate the impact of temperature on the electrocatalytic performance and material stability in carbon dioxide electrolysis. Additionally, the role includes devising strategies to mitigate temperature dependencies. The successful candidate will work with a diverse team of scientists and be part of the e-Refinery institute focusing on electrochemical conversion technologies. The position also involves publishing in scientific literature and presenting the technology to the general public.
Conditions of Employment:
Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities. The TU Delft offers a customizable compensation package, discounts on health insurance, and a monthly work costs contribution. Flexible work schedules can be arranged. There is a salary increase of 3.7% from 1 September 2024, followed by an additional 1% increase on 1 January 2025.
