Job Description:
The Ph.D. student will be responsible for running CrustNet sampling nodes in the Chihuahuan Desert and analyzing biocrust samples from multiple global sites. Key tasks include:
- Conducting fieldwork in the Chihuahuan Desert and potentially other global locations.
- Analyzing biocrust samples in collaboration with a laboratory technician.
- Engaging with the global network of biocrust researchers, contributing to high-impact publications.
- Participating in the Biocrust conference series and collaborating with leading scientists in the field.
