Job Description:
The successful candidate will collaboratively develop and validate a long-read supported annotation pipeline applicable to a wide range of organisms. This bioinformatic workflow will be developed leveraging long-read transcriptomics and ELIXIR tool SQANTI3, aiming to enhance genome annotation in the ERGA database. The role involves close collaboration with the ERGA community, contributing to an open-source development of the ELIXIR and ERGA infrastructures.
