Post Doc – Immunology Research Associate: The Matt Bettini Lab at the University of Utah is seeking a motivated and passionate Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team. Research Area:

Immunology, Specifically focusing on the study of ITAM number and sequence in Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T cell function.

Location:

University of Utah School of Medicine, Salt Lake City, UT

Eligibility/Qualifications:

  • PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Proficiency in flow cytometry, confocal imaging, cell culture, and next-generation sequencing.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Track record of publications in English language journals.

Job Description:

  • Conduct research projects focused on understanding CAR T cell function using a systems biology approach.
  • Design experiments, collect and analyze data.
  • Collaborate with colleagues at the University of Utah and other institutions.
  • Supervise undergraduate and graduate students in research activities.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art technologies to investigate CAR ITAM sequences and their functional implications.
